Have You Tried This Yet?

I'm addicted to WisprFlow

By Meredith's Husband | May, 2026

I don't recommend tools very often. There are really only two services I typically mention: Semrush and WhiteSpark. I've been using Semrush for well over a decade and WhiteSpark not much less than that. When I recommend something, it's because I've lived with it long enough to trust it.

So this is unusual...

Eight weeks ago I signed up for a free trial of something called Wispr Flow. I signed up mostly out of curiosity. I'd heard good things about it, but I had no real need for a tool like this and wasn't expecting much. It's an AI-powered voice-to-text tool. The same basic idea as speaking to Siri, except that accuracy and fluency are supposedly better.

My honest expectation was that: I'd try it, find it underwhelming, and move on.

Twenty minutes later, I knew I was wrong.

I knew WisprFlow was a tool I would use. The only question was whether I should start with the free plan (with a limit of 2,000 words/week) since I genuinely wondered whether I'd ever hit that limit. Less than two months later, I've dictated 104,426 words. (that's longer than most novels)

The cost of the paid plan didn't matter, whether it was five dollars or thirty dollars. That's a different feeling than I usually have about subscriptions.

I'm not going to try to explain exactly what makes it work as well as it does, because the learning curve is short enough that it's easier to just try it yourself. Either it will change how you work or it won't.

The link below gives you a free trial for a full month. If you try it and it's not for you, nothing is lost. If you try it and keep it, I get a free month, too.

I'm telling you all this because I believe there's a good chance it will change how you work, and will save you time each day.

I hope it helps.
